Bio

Dennis Jolley has served as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Chief Strategy Officer at Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare in Saint Paul, Minnesota since December 2015 As the nation’s first hospital dedicated to serving children who have disabilities, Gillette provides specialized care to children who have complex, rare or traumatic conditions affecting the musculoskeletal and/or neurological systems, intensive rehabilitation needs and lifelong disability.

 

In his role at Gillette, Jolley has primary executive responsibility for the organization’s long-range strategy, business development, partnership development, communications, and marketing of the organization. He also serves as the executive leader for the design of Gillette’s new business ventures and partnerships.

 

Jolley has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, including strategy, business development, communications and marketing leadership roles at University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics, the Thrasher Research Fund, and the Office of the US Surgeon General. He has also served in leadership roles in multiple non-profits, professional associations and advocacy organizations. He currently serves on the national board of governors for the Human Rights Campaign, as vice-chair of the board of directors Living Well Disability Services, and an on the boards of Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest and the Saint Paul Area Chamber of Commerce.

 

Jolley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Social Medicine and Epidemiology, and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning Theory as well as certificates in biomedical ethics and international health. He is a recognized speaker on topics including strategy development, planning, aligning strategy and operational planning, business development, integrated strategic communications, marketing and team development
